Welcome to the website of Witton Castle Lakes, one of, if not the, premier trout fisheries of the North East of England, situated in the grounds of Witton Castle accessed just off the A68 south of the River Wear and the Village of Witton le Wear in the heartland of the picturesque Wear Valley. Operated by Bishop Auckland & District Angling Club.

Its farewell to Bill Scaife after years of service to the lakes and Bishop Auckland and District Angling Club and welcome to Tom Osborne Bill's successor.
