If you have Satellite Navigation and you are planning to visit Witton Castle Lakes for the first time you can use the following post code DL14 0DE.


This will get you to the lodge at the entrance of the track into the Lakes,  just follow the track down past the paintballing on the right. Keep following the track until you come to the end and you turn left down through the gate to the lakes car park. Please note that sometimes the gate is closed due to livestock being in the fields, if the gate is closed for this reason please ensure you close it after you enter and leave the lakes. .

Please note this is the lodge next to the old road bridge over the River Wear not at the main entrance of Witton Castle itself.
